The Dublin Castle, NW1 7AN , [Venue Details]Infertile Crabs – a special performance by these mysterious crustaceans of cool. Actually a three piece of perfectly fecund hoomans, their lovely music is hinged on sweetly toned guitar refrains and a top notch rhythm section with lots of punch. .
Originals and nifty covers alike- they do wonderful things with a Jeff Buckley tune
Dan Spanner Trio – Veteran sax player, band leader and performer, Dan Spanner and his trio play psychedelic jazz with pedal-affected sax and ‘out there’ poetry… not really like anything else on the planet! Jazz punk psych…Think Gong, King Crimson…as if fronted by an Ian Dury/Iggy Pop cross breed. “Making Weird Saxy again” – Robert Sekula, 14 Iced Bears.
Fever Dreams Collective – opening this remarkable bill, and another excellent band you really have to get along nice and early for (on stage 8pm sharp), FDC are a superb 6 piece band, playing many sub-genres such as skiffle, folk-rock, reggae , psychedelic-folk and more… blending them all together with their signature songwriting style
